Here I will publish things I discover during my research into the physical and mental infrastructure of the Norwegian oil wealth.
The past weeks I have been diving into history, geography, engineering, economy and geology to try and get a grip on what is going on with the oil and gas industry in Norway. Also, I am trying to find tools and concept to articulate the mental infrastructure that maintains this industry.
I'm inspired by Susan Griffins A Chorus of Stones and the New Materialism movement and I'm trying to figure out how to think about this hyperobject that is oil.
